Your coffee is roasted after you place your order to ensure the freshest and best product possible. This coffee is grown at an altitude of 1300-1900 masl. It is processed using the natural method. This coffee features Typica, SL14 and SL28 varietals and was harvested between September and December 2022.
This rich coffee has a fruity fragrance and aroma with a bright acidity. The aftertaste is sweet and medium-bodied. You will experience flavors of berry, blackberry, brown sugar, caramel, plum, and merlot. Brewed conventionally or in a pourover, this coffee performs exceptionally well and you will be pleased with the smooth rich taste. Receiving a cupping score of 85.75, it is a highly rated coffee and absolutely worth every penny.
To ensure maximum freshness, our roasted coffee is packaged in resealable foil-lined bags with a one way valve to let gasses escape and keep oxygen from entering.
A portion of all sales from this coffee is donated to benefit the student scholarship fund of the Rio Grande Bible College, an accredited Bible College on the Texas/Mexico border. All classes are in Spanish and about 90% of the student body comes from Latin American countries. www.riogrande.edu
