This coffee is made to order so you get the freshest and best quality product possible.
One of the prime coffee growing regions in Mexico is Chiapas, where they grow their coffee in the altitude between 1200 and 1600 meters. The washed process is used to prepare these beans for use. The varietals include Caturra, Catuai, and Bourbon/Tipica. The result is coffee with a medium body and acidity and a flavor profile of milk chocolate, nougat, roasted almond, and citrus.
For maximum freshness, all coffee is packaged in resealable foil-lined bags that have a one-way valve, keeping oxygen out while allowing gasses to escape. A portion of all sales from this coffee is donated to benefit the student scholarship fund on the Rio Grande Bible College, an accredited Bible College on the Texas/Mexico border. All classes are in Spanish and about 90% of the student body comes from Latin American countries. www.riogrande.edu
